A young woman from Lokoja has reportedly been caught after allegedly attempting to lace her ex-boyfriend’s food with a substance she claimed was meant to spiritually influence him.
According to reports, the woman allegedly admitted that she and a friend visited a traditional spiritual practitioner in Adankolo to obtain a suspected love charm, popularly referred to as “jazz.”
Speaking after the incident, she reportedly said her intention was not to harm or kill her ex-boyfriend but to make him remain emotionally attached to her and under her influence. The claims have not been independently verified by authorities.
The incident has since sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many Nigerians sharing mixed opinions.
