In a recent interview on With Chude aired on Saturday, March 28, 2026, Olayode recounted how the situation took a heavy emotional toll on her, pushing her into depression and leaving her feeling suicidal and unstable.
She said the situation worsened when the pastor allegedly gained access to her social media accounts and began posting content that shocked those close to her.
According to her, the experience led to a mental and emotional breakdown, during which she struggled with nightmares and high blood pressure. She, however, said she eventually began to recover after finding comfort in the concept of “El Roi,” meaning “The God who sees.”
Olayode explained that this moment marked the beginning of her healing journey, though she noted that forgiveness remains an ongoing process.
She also reflected on how the ordeal affected her personal life, saying it contributed to challenges in her marriage, even though it was not the sole cause of its difficulties.
Recounting a particularly emotional moment from her past, she said, “Then I said, ‘You know what? Let’s pretend I’m blind, and then you beg.’ So I sat on the floor, and we began begging. My brother was saying, ‘Please help us, my sister is blind.’”
Her testimony has since sparked emotional reactions from fans and followers across social media.
