A Nigerian woman living in the UK for her master’s degree has shared how a hidden camera allegedly exposed her neighbour making advances towards her husband while her younger sister was away visiting their parents.
The woman said she had initially been uncomfortable leaving her younger sister to live with her husband in Nigeria, but eventually trusted them because they were family.
According to her, months after relocating to the UK, a neighbour called and questioned her decision.
The neighbour reportedly said she had noticed her husband and younger sister frequently leaving the house together, returning together and going shopping together.
Woman sets trap after neighbour’s warning
The woman said the information left her worried and unable to concentrate, prompting her to seek the help of a trusted friend.
She explained that her friend installed a hidden camera in the house, which allowed her to monitor what was happening remotely from the UK.
The woman said the camera later captured an unexpected scene after her younger sister travelled to visit their parents.
She stated that she saw her neighbour inside the house making advances towards her husband in front of the camera.
Story sparks questions about trust
The revelation has raised questions about trust, relationships and the assumptions people may make when they notice unusual movements around a couple’s home.
The woman did not disclose what happened after she discovered the alleged encounter, leaving the subsequent reaction of her husband and neighbour unclear.
Her account highlights how a warning from an unexpected source led her to investigate a situation she initially feared involved her husband and younger sister, only to reportedly discover a different development.
