“I told her we would be moving back to Nigeria”-David Oyedepo Jnr Reveals Wife Gave Up U.S. Green Card After Marriage

Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr has shared a personal story about his wife’s decision to give up her United States residency following their marriage.

Speaking on the matter, he disclosed that his wife was on the verge of becoming a U.S. citizen and already held a green card before their relationship led to a major life decision.

“My wife was close to becoming a U.S. citizen and already had a green card, but after we got married, I told her we would be moving back to Nigeria, so she returned it. That is the green card some people would k+ll for.”

According to him, the decision was made as part of their commitment to building their life together in Nigeria.

His remarks have since sparked conversations online, with many reacting to the level of sacrifice involved and the broader implications of choosing between opportunities abroad and life at home.
