A Nigerian lady has generated reactions on social media after sharing her decision to retain her father’s surname even after getting married.
In her statement, she explained that her choice is rooted in the need to preserve her family name, especially as there are only female children in her household.
“When I get married, I want to keep my father’s surname. We are all girls in my family, and half of my father’s side will be completely wip€d out. I want to continue his legacy because my dad is a great man.”

That “when” may never come if i were you. The best thing is not to marry at all. Just relax in your father’s house and born as many kids as you want. All of them will bear your father’s name. A queen and more.
