“I Would Probably Be A Label Owner Or Own A Media House If I Wasn’t Singing”- Davido

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has revealed that he would still have found his way into the entertainment industry even if his career as a musician had not taken off.

The Grammy-nominated singer made the revelation during an interview with PlayKisstra, where he opened up about his passion for entertainment and the alternative career paths he would have explored.

According to Davido, his love for show business goes beyond performing music, noting that he could have ventured into managing artists or building a media brand.

“I’d probably be a label owner or have a media house because I’ve always loved entertainment. Even if I was working in my daddy’s office, I can see myself having a side business like a music label just because I love music,” he said.

The singer also highlighted his educational background, stating that he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and could have pursued a conventional corporate career if he had chosen that route.

“I have a degree. I have a BSc in Business Management, so I can go to Barclays here and try to get a job. You know what I’m saying? I could get a job. I can actually get a job. I got a résumé,” Davido added.

The “Unavailable” hitmaker’s comments reflect his belief that his entrepreneurial mindset and passion for entertainment would have guided him toward success, regardless of the path he took.
