Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has shared a heartfelt message about love, expressing her desire to love wholeheartedly without allowing the fear of heartbreak to stop her from enjoying meaningful relationships.
The actress, who has experienced relationship challenges in the past, reflected on the importance of embracing love without constantly worrying about how things might end.
According to Nkechi, not every beautiful relationship is destined to last forever, but that does not make the experience any less meaningful. She explained that whether a relationship lasts a lifetime or comes to an end unexpectedly, she would remain grateful for the opportunity to have experienced genuine love.
The movie star also noted that the fear of losing someone should not prevent people from expressing their feelings, creating beautiful memories and enjoying the happiness that comes with being in love.
Sharing her thoughts, Nkechi made it clear that she would rather give love her all and experience heartbreak than spend her life guarding her emotions out of fear of getting hurt.
In her words:
“I want to love with my whole heart, without constantly worrying about how the story will end. Not every beautiful thing is meant to last forever, and not every love story needs a lifetime to be meaningful.
If it lasts forever, I’ll be grateful. If it ends tomorrow, I’ll still be grateful that I got to experience it. I refuse to let the fear of losing someone rob me of the joy of loving them today. Life is too short to love halfway, to hold back affection, or to pretend we don’t care just because we’re afraid of getting hurt.
I want to love deeply, laugh freely, create beautiful memories, and give genuine love while it feels right. Because to me, the beauty of love isn’t just in how long it lasts, but in how beautifully it makes us feel while we have it.
I would rather have loved with my whole heart and lost than spend my life protecting my heart from the very thing that makes it feel alive”.
