The founder of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, has sparked reactions following comments addressing insecurity and attacks on Christians in Nigeria.
Speaking during a sermon, the cleric called for an end to violence against Christians, urging believers to become more conscious of their safety and surroundings.
According to him:
“Killing of Christians must stop in Nigeria. Christians need to wake up. Israel is a small nation and they didn’t allow Arabs to wipe them out.”
Pastor Ibiyeomie went further to stress the need for self-awareness and preparedness, especially in situations where government protection may be lacking.
“If Government can’t defend you, defend yourself. Get yourself a walking stick.”
His remarks have since generated mixed reactions online, with some supporting his call for vigilance and others expressing concern over the interpretation of self-defense in such contexts.

Stopping Christians from being killed is like stopping Jesus from dying on the cross. Cant happen wont happen.
