During the interview, 2Baba said that while Nigeria is still facing serious issues in areas like security and the economy, there has still been some level of gradual improvement compared to previous years.
However, it was his strong remarks about public behaviour that have now gone viral and triggered heated debate online.
The singer expressed concern that many Nigerians are quick to blame the government for problems that are sometimes caused by citizens themselves.

“If someone drinks sachet water and throws it on the expressway, they will say it is caused by Tinubu. When it blocks drainage, they will say it is the governor’s problem.”
