“If Your Future In-Laws Really Don’t Like You, Don’t Even Try It” – Toolz Shares Marriage Advice as She Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Nigerian media personality Toolz has shared relationship advice for singles while reflecting on her decade-long marriage, urging people not to ignore red flags from their prospective in-laws.

Speaking during a recent episode of The Morayo Show as she celebrated her 10th wedding anniversary, Toolz described the milestone as a testament to perseverance, growth and working through life’s challenges together.

According to her, staying married for more than a decade requires commitment and resilience, as every long-term marriage experiences difficult moments.

“Anybody married for more than 10 years knows it’s not easy because they’ve worked through many things, especially those moments when you begin to question why you’re even in the marriage.”

Toolz also praised her husband’s family, describing her in-laws as one of the biggest blessings in her marriage and crediting them for their unwavering support over the years.

Drawing from her personal experience, she advised singles to pay close attention to how they are received by their future in-laws before getting married.

“If you’re not married and you meet your potential father-in-law and mother-in-law and they really don’t like you, don’t even try it.”

She added that many people underestimate the influence in-laws can have on a marriage, warning that such issues often become more significant after the wedding.

“Some people get into that situation and think it’s not a big deal. Well, it’s a big deal.”
