Celebrity designer Veekee James has responded after being criticised on social media over claims that she was “insecure” for using multiple Snapchat filters in a recent video.
The video sparked mixed reactions online, with some users questioning her choice of filters while others defended her, arguing that it was unnecessary backlash.
A Snapchat user came to her defence, praising her appearance and dismissing the criticism as unfair. The fan wrote:
“So it’s this video someone was dragging you with? Just because it’s double filter😒 Anyways, you loooook amazing 🥰 and I hope that whatever anyone is saying about you doesn’t affect you ❤️.”
Reacting to the comment, Veekee James brushed off the accusations and explained that she was simply making use of Snapchat’s creative tools as a content creator.
“My dear 😂 ask me o🤣 Please I don’t want to laugh ooo… why am I on Snapchat as a creator if I will not enjoy the features! I’m the last person anybody can talk down on in the area of beauty😂😂 like I’m a full babe 😂😂.”
She further added that confidence is part of her personal brand, stressing that she proudly embraces her looks and presentation.
