Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has opened up about a memorable marriage proposal she once received but ultimately declined.
Taking to her Instagram page, the actress revealed that a man went to great lengths to express his feelings for her by reserving an entire cinema exclusively for the two of them. During the private outing, he proposed and asked her to be his partner.
Despite the grand romantic gesture, Sarah said she respectfully turned down the proposal. According to her, past experiences in relationships have made her cautious about getting involved romantically at this stage of her life.
The actress explained that her current priority is building her career and financial success rather than pursuing love. She noted that she is focused on making money and achieving her personal goals, adding that she is not interested in entering a relationship for now.
Sarah’s revelation has since sparked reactions online, with many fans sharing mixed opinions about her decision to put her ambitions ahead of romance.
