“I’m Innocent” – VeryDarkMan Responds To Phyna’s Allegations, Says People Want Him Destroyed

Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has reacted strongly to recent allegations made against him by reality TV star Phyna, insisting that he is innocent and being targeted.

The controversy follows claims earlier made by Phyna, who accused VDM of allegedly trying to take advantage of her during a difficult period following the death of her younger sister.

Reacting in a lengthy statement, VeryDarkMan said he now fears for his safety because of the growing allegations being made against him online.

According to him:

“With what Phyna is doing to me now, I won’t be surprised if they send ass@ssins after me because these people are really desperate to see VDM destr0yed.”

He further alleged that certain individuals want him completely silenced.

“They really want me out of their radar.”

VDM explained that although he initially intended to ignore the accusations and move on, he felt compelled to respond because of how damaging the allegations had become.

“I wanted to move on from these allegations Phyna made against me, but the allegations are too serious to ignore. How do you even make up things like this?”

The activist also referenced separate accusations that surfaced online accusing him of sponsoring hate against Islam, which he denied.

“Also, yesterday, some people came out to falsely claim that I am sponsoring hate against !sl@m, and now this?”

Defending himself further, VDM said he has female friends across different age groups and insisted there was nothing inappropriate about his relationship with Phyna.

“I have female friends from all walks of life, from 52-year-olds to 23-year-olds.”

In a controversial part of his statement, he added:

“I even regret that I didn’t do it with you for real.”

The latest response comes after Phyna earlier accused the activist of allegedly making advances at her during the emotional period surrounding her sister’s death.

The ongoing feud has sparked massive reactions online, with supporters of both personalities debating the situation across social media platforms.

While some Nigerians defended VDM and accused critics of trying to tarnish his image, others insisted the allegations deserved serious attention and clarity from both parties.

The controversy continues to trend online as neither side appears willing to back down.
