A rescued pupil from Oyo State has recounted his frightening experience while in the custody of bandits, revealing that he remains determined to return to school despite the ordeal.
The young student, who was among those rescued after being abducted, opened up about his time in captivity and expressed confidence that the incident would not stop him from continuing his education.
Speaking after his rescue, the pupil said: “I’m not afraid to return to school. I want to continue my education because I still have dreams I want to achieve.”
Recounting his experience, he described his time with the abductors as a difficult period but said he remained hopeful throughout the ordeal.
The student’s courage has attracted reactions from Nigerians, with many praising his strength and determination to move forward despite the trauma he experienced.
