American rapper Cardi B has addressed the drama that often surrounds her relationships, saying the ex-girlfriends and babymamas of the men she dates tend to become obsessed with her.
Her comments come amid ongoing dating rumours linking her to Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, following a recent social media outburst by the footballer’s alleged babymama.
Speaking during a livestream on X (formerly Twitter), Cardi said the situation is not new to her.
“One thing about it, two things for sure, I’m telling y’all this since I was 20,” she said.
Recalling one of her experiences, the rapper claimed an ex-girlfriend of a former partner repeatedly called her and even showed up at her workplace.
“She was obsessed with me. She was calling my house phone… She even came to my job,” Cardi recalled, adding that she begged the woman to leave her alone to avoid any confrontation.
She also alleged that another former boyfriend’s babymama was equally difficult.
“When I dated that scammer that I dated for three years, he had an ins@ne baby mom, the bitch was just, ins@ne.”
According to Cardi, the pattern has continued throughout her dating life.
“As long as a n+gga has a baby mom, or even an ex-girlfriend, this is going to happen. I don’t know what it is about me, I ruffle their feathers really bad.”
Despite the drama, the rapper made it clear she has no intention of remaining single.
“Bardi Gang, I’m not going to stay single forever. I’m sorry, I’m just not. I need to be entertained,” she said.
