Israeli strikes on Sunday killed at least three people in Gaza, including a woman, the enclave’s civil defence agency said.
Despite an October ceasefire, Gaza remains gripped by daily violence as Israeli strikes and attacks continue.
“Three martyrs and several others were injured following attacks by occupation forces in Gaza City and Khan Yunis,” said the agency.
Two men were killed when an Israeli drone fired a missile that “struck a group of civilians” near the Kuwait roundabout in the Zeitun neighbourhood of Gaza City, the territory’s largest urban centre, the agency reported.
Gaza’s Al-Shifa hospital confirmed it had received the bodies.
In a separate incident, a woman was killed after being shot by Israeli forces in Khan Younis. Her body was transferred to Nasser Hospital, the agency added.
The Israeli military claimed it was not aware of any incident involving the killing of a woman in Khan Younis, adding it was looking into reports concerning the deaths of the two men.
Despite the October ceasefire deal, Israeli forces have killed at least 811 Palestinians, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
Israel has also continued to restrict and limit access to foreign journalists in Gaza.
