Popular Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has claimed he was defrauded after allegedly paying $4 million for a property in Lagos, only to later discover that the seller did not own the house.
The claim surfaced during an Instagram Live session, where the singer appeared emotional as he recounted the alleged incident. According to the circulating video, Bella said he had spent years working for the money and was devastated by the discovery.
He said:
“Nigeria. I need your help. I’m not doing okay right now. I spent $4m. of my own hard-earned money. Only to find out I bought a stolen property. And now… the seller has disappeared. Please… someone step in. I’ve got nothing left. I worked years for this. I can’t lose a 4 million dollars like that. I just contacted my lawyer for further investigation.”
The claim has generated mixed reactions online, with some expressing sympathy for the singer while others questioned the authenticity of the story and urged caution until more details emerge.
