Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin has given a fresh update on her proposed celebrity boxing match against rival actress Iyabo Ojo.
In a video making the rounds on social media, she confirmed she had reached out to Paul Okoye (Pauloo) and Soso Soberekon, but had not received a response yet.
Speaking from inside her car, Anjorin declared: “I’ve reached out to Pauloo and Soso Soberekon but haven’t gotten a response. I’ve accepted the challenge to fight Iyabo Ojo — she thought I was joking, but this is personal. This fight is about revenge and I’ll beat Iyabo Ojo mercilessly.”
The actress stressed that the bout has become deeply personal for her.

The feud between Anjorin and Ojo has spanned years in Yoruba Nollywood, marked by social media wars, accusations, police petitions, and a ₦1 billion defamation suit that was dismissed.
In 2024, Paul Okoye suggested a boxing match with a ₦10 million prize to settle the beef. Recently, Ojo who is Okoye’s partner, revived the idea with training videos and calls for sponsors like E-Money and Soso Soberekon.
Lizzy has accepted the challenge with conditions. She demands that Pauloo fight her husband, Chief Lawal, a certified boxer, for 10 rounds first. She also taunted Ojo about “fake riches” and even mentioned bringing “two coffins.”
