A serious security incident has been reported in Katsina State involving the alleged abduction of retired Nigerian Army spokesperson, Major General Rabe Abubakar, and his wife.
According to reports, the incident occurred along the Matazu axis while the retired senior officer and his wife were travelling toward Katsina. It was alleged that armed attackers intercepted their vehicle and took both individuals away.
A security source further stated that the driver of the vehicle was reportedly shot during the attack but managed to escape from the scene. The vehicle involved, described as a red Peugeot 504, was later recovered and handed over to the Matazu Divisional Police Headquarters……. >>>>
