President Bola Tinubu, APC governors and party leaders are expected in Kaduna on Saturday for the flag-off of the party’s 2027 presidential campaign, with security tightened and final preparations completed at Ranchers Bees Stadium.
The rally, scheduled for Saturday, is expected to bring together party supporters and stakeholders to mobilise support for Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general election.
Preparations at the stadium have reached the final stage, with the VIP stand decorated, seating arrangements completed and tents erected to accommodate attendees.
Campaign banners bearing the images of Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani have also been displayed across the city ahead of the event.
Security has been intensified across Kaduna, with police, military personnel and other security agencies deployed to strategic locations and around the stadium.
Organisers have also announced screening procedures for people entering the venue as part of measures to maintain order and ensure security during the rally.
The flag-off is expected to provide the All Progressives Congress with a platform to rally its political structures and supporters behind Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
The party is also expected to use the event to promote its Renewed Hope Agenda and strengthen mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
