“Know your worth, stop acting like her father” – Lady advises men against overplaying their role in relationships

A Nigerian lady has stirred reactions online after urging men to know their worth and stop overextending themselves in relationships.

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she argued that wickedness is not gender-based, stressing that men should stop acting like “fathers” to women they are dating.

According to her, if women insist they are not their mothers, men should also avoid taking on parental responsibilities in relationships.

“Men, how I wish you know your worth. Wickedness is not gender-based. If these ladies are saying, ‘We’re not your mother,’ why should you act like their fathers? Who sent you? Why are you overplaying your roles?” she said.

The lady further advised men to pay attention to red flags, claiming that women who constantly use words like “Dracula,” “Olodo uprising” and “pick me” may not be the right partners.

She also criticised some women who publicly describe themselves as independent, alleging that many still rely on other men behind the scenes.

“The moment you’re meeting a lady and she’s starting to use words like Dracula, Olodo uprising or pick me, just know you’ve made the wrong choice. Women will boldly say they’re independent, but behind that independence is another man they’re depending on,” she added.

She concluded by warning men against allowing bitter opinions on social media influence their relationships, claiming some people only want to recruit others into their own frustrations.
