Nollywood actress and reality TV star Eriata Ese has responded to a social media critic who condemned her choice of outfit, urging people to be more mindful of the way they address others online.
The actress recently shared a video of herself on her YouTube page, where she appeared in a stylish loose-fitting top that revealed part of her cleavage. Shortly after the post went viral, a fashion critic took to the comment section to express disapproval over her appearance.
The critic told Eriata that her cleavage should be covered, writing, “Your breast is supposed to be inside clothes, not outside.”
Reacting to the comment, the actress fired back, questioning why the critic felt the need to publicly attack her outfit. Eriata described the comment as unnecessary and blamed whoever gave the critic internet access to share such opinions online.
She wrote, “This your oversabi suppose end inside your house. How did it reach online? Na who share hotspot for you I blame. Respect yourself.”
The actress further advised social media users to avoid spreading negativity and learn when to ignore content they do not appreciate.
According to Eriata, people should develop the habit of scrolling past posts they do not like instead of attacking others over personal choices.
She added, “Sometimes learn to keep scrolling if you don’t have anything positive to say.”
