Serious chaos was reportedly witnessed at Osubi Airport, popularly known as Warri Airport, in Delta State on Friday morning during a campaign activity involving supporters of Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate Peter Obi.
In videos circulating online, some NDC supporters could be heard alleging that thŭgs att@cked them while security personnel were present at the scene.
“Look at the thŭgs, they came to att@ck us. The securities watching. We must face them. We are fully ready for them.”
Another NDC supporter, recounting the incident, said the group refused to back down despite the alleged att@ck.
“The police are literally here, yet thŭgs are att@cking us. But we, the masses, stood our ground and resisted them. They believe we are not afraid of them.”
The reported incident comes shortly after a separate confrontation involving Peter Obi’s convoy in Benue State, where his movement was blocked by people described by his supporters as thŭgs. Police later arrested 46 suspects in connection with that incident.
The latest reports from Delta State have generated reactions online, with some users calling for caution while others openly advocated retaliation.
