According to reports, Trump made the remarks on his Truth Social platform while also sharing a video that appeared to show destruction linked to a major infrastructure site in Iran.
In his message, he urged Iranian leaders to act quickly, warning that delay could lead to even more severe consequences. His tone suggested that the window for diplomacy may be closing fast.
The warning comes amid reports of an alleged strike on a key highway bridge connecting Tehran and Karaj, a structure considered highly important for transport and regional movement.
The bridge, identified in local reports as the B1 bridge, is said to be one of the tallest of its kind in the Middle East. It was still under construction and was expected to significantly improve connectivity between the capital and surrounding areas.
Authorities in Iran claimed the structure suffered heavy damage, with parts of it collapsing after the incident. Reports also indicated that several people were injured during the attack.
Iranian officials have blamed a joint operation involving the United States and Israel, a claim that has further escalated already high tensions in the region.
Alongside the bridge incident, Iranian authorities also reported damage to a historic medical and research facility linked to the Pasteur Institute of Iran, a respected scientific institution with over a century of history.
Images released by officials showed visible destruction to parts of the complex, raising concerns about the safety of civilian-linked infrastructure during the ongoing conflict.
The developments have intensified fears that the situation could move beyond targeted strikes into a broader and more dangerous phase, especially as diplomatic relations continue to deteriorate.
As of now, neither Washington nor Tel Aviv has officially confirmed responsibility for the reported attacks.
But with strong warnings being exchanged and critical infrastructure allegedly hit, the situation remains highly volatile.
