A young woman popularly known as “Fine Girl” has allegedly been murdered, dismembered and secretly buried by her boyfriend in Nkpor, Anambra State.
According to reports, the suspect, said to be an indigene of Enugu State residing in Nkpor, allegedly killed the victim, cut up her body and concealed the remains in a bag before burying them.
The suspect reportedly demanded a ₦3 million ransom from the victim’s parents after her disappearance. The ransom call allegedly helped investigators trace and arrest him.
Sources say the victim had informed a friend that she was going to visit the suspect before she went missing.
On Sunday, the victim’s remains were exhumed as investigators intensified efforts to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the killing.
The suspect is currently in police custody while investigations continue.
