An owner of a matchmaking platform has sparked reactions online after narrating how a marriage arrangement collapsed when the family of a 42-year-old woman allegedly demanded ₦12 million as bride price from a suitor he introduced.
“I connected you a 42 year old lady that have never been married to a man for marriage and your family started telling him to bring 12 million as bride price”
The matchmaker further explained that the suitor eventually backed out after the demand and blocked the woman, blaming what he described as excessive expectations from her family for the failed introduction.
