Wife of late Nigerian talented singer Imole Aloba Mohbad, Wumi Aloba, has finally addressed the controversy surrounding the DNA center picked for her son Liam’s DNA after several allegations leveled against her by her father in law Joseph Aloba.
The widow in a fresh interview with Channels TV, carefully spoke about the choosing of the Centers and how they arrived at the juncture of rejection by the Centers picked by her and the Court.
Recall that a Lagos Magistrate Court sitting in Ikorodu, two months ago, with the presiding judge, Magistrate B.A. Sonuga ordered for a DNA test to be done and asked both the wife of the late singer and his father, bring three names each of DNA Centers to the court.

According to Wumi, the names where taken to the court: “We brought six names, that’s three from his side and three from mine and the court adjourned the case to another for them to do finding and pick one from each, so the center which he claims I picked was given to me by the court.”
This revelation stems from accusations from her father in law who she claims, lied that she picked a Center that does not do DNA to stall the case. Moving forward Wumi cleared the air that the Center given to her was picked by the court who she said, did not ask if the Center could conduct a DNA test on an embalmed body.
Eelive reported months back that two out of the three Centers picked by the court, Joseph Aloba and Wumi rejected the test request on grounds that they don’t conduct DNA on embalmed body. Only Aloba’s Center was cleared to conduct the test. However, this reason has stalled the DNA case and netizens await the next court ruling.
