“Most Rich Nigerian Men Are Walking STDs”- Ms. Jorji Claims

Nigerian social media personality Ms. Jorji has sparked reactions online after making a controversial claim about wealthy Nigerian men and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

In a statement that has drawn attention, she said, “Most wealthy Nigerian men are HIV carriers for sure… Most rich Nigerian men are walking STDs.”

Her remarks have stirred debate over sexual health, wealth and relationships, with the statement likely to generate differing opinions among social media users.

However, HIV status cannot be determined by a person’s wealth, appearance or lifestyle. HIV and other sexually transmitted infections can affect anyone, regardless of their financial status. Testing remains the reliable way to establish a person’s HIV status.
