An American woman has shared the heartwarming story of how her online relationship with a Nigerian man eventually led to marriage.
According to the woman, the couple spent 10 months communicating online before she finally travelled from North Carolina, United States, to Nigeria to meet her partner in person for the first time.
She revealed that the trip marked her first-ever experience of travelling by plane. However, despite never having met her Nigerian partner physically before the journey, their relationship quickly progressed after their first meeting.
Just six days after meeting in person, the couple exchanged marital vows.
Sharing her experience, the American woman described her Nigerian husband as the fulfilment of her prayers and expressed deep affection for him.
“I flew for the first time ever on a plane from North Carolina to Nigeria after talking online for 10 months. We got married 6 days after we met in person. My husband is my answered prayer, my angel, my sweetheart,” she said.
Her story has attracted attention online, with many people celebrating the couple and describing their journey from an online connection to marriage as a remarkable love story.
