Nigerian singer and songwriter Olawale Ashimi, popularly known as Brymo, has opened up about the unusual circumstances surrounding his birth, revealing that his arrival came after years of uncertainty and confusion.
The talented musician shared that his mother experienced a traumatic incident as a teenager, which later affected her menstrual cycle for several years. According to Brymo, the situation left many people convinced that something was wrong with her health.
However, years later, the family discovered that his mother was not facing a medical condition but was actually pregnant with him.
Brymo explained that his mother was already five months into the pregnancy before anyone realised she was expecting him, describing his birth story as one filled with mystery.
“My birth was surrounded by mystery. After a traumatic experience as a teenager, my mum stopped seeing her period for years. Everyone believed something was wrong until they discovered she was already five months pregnant with me,” he revealed.
