The National Business and Technical Examinations Board, NABTEB, has announced the commencement of certificate collection for candidates who sat for its examinations up to 2024.
Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, disclosed this on Friday, October 30, 2026, in a statement made available to newsmen in Benin City.
Mohammed said the certificates of candidates who registered and sat for the Board’s examinations up to 2024 were ready and available for collection.
According to him, the certificates cover the May/June National Business Certificate, NBC, and National Technical Certificate, NTC, examinations, as well as the November/December NBC/NTC and Advanced National Business Certificate, ANBC/Advanced National Technical Certificate, ANTC, examinations.
He advised candidates who sat for the May/June examinations to collect their certificates from the schools where they registered and took the examinations.
He also urged candidates who sat for the November/December examinations to collect their certificates from NABTEB offices in the states where they registered and took the examinations.
The registrar said candidates would be required to present valid means of identification, including their National Identification Number, NIN, slips or cards and driver’s licences, among others.
Other requirements, according to him, include a statement of result or NABTEB online printout containing examination details for November/December candidates, as well as one passport photograph with a red background.
He added that candidates collecting certificates for the November/December examinations would also be required to pay an approved collection fee of N1,000, excluding statutory online charges.
Mohammed, however, warned that certificate collection was restricted to bona fide candidates, noting that certificates would only be issued to genuine candidates.
