Netanyahu reveals shock cancer diagnosis and secret surgery in bombshell update

Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed bombshell prostate cancer diagnosis – adding he underwennt secret surgery and is now in “excellent physical condition”.

Writing on X, Netanyahu, 76, said he “requested to delay its publication by two months so that it would not be released at the height of the war, in order not to allow the Iranian terror regime to spread even more false propaganda against Israel”.

During a monitoring medical visit, “a tiny spot of less than a centimeter was discovered in the prostate,” he said, adding that “upon examination, it turned out to be a very early stage of a malignant tumor, with no spread or metastases whatsoever”.

He then “underwent targeted treatment that removed the problem and left no trace of it. I went to a few short treatments, read a book, and continued working. The spot disappeared completely. Thank God, I overcame this too,” he also wrote.

Israel’s Prime Minister said he previously had surgery a year and a half ago for an enlarged benign prostate, and since then he has been under routine medical monitoring.

Netanyahu was treated at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem and treatment was led by Professor Aharon Popovzer who quoted by The Sun said: “A few months ago, as part of a routine check-up, we discovered a 0.9-centimetre mass that was found to be a prostatic adenocarcinoma.”

The news came after US President Donald Trump said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun will be going to Washington “over the next couple of weeks”. The US President made the announcement while speaking to reporters in the Oval Office after concluding the second round of negotiations between Israel and Lebanon which led to a three-week extension of the ceasefire.
