Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa (rtd), has called for collective action in addressing Nigeria’s worsening security challenges, saying the fight against insecurity cannot be won by one person or institution alone.
Speaking on the current security situation, Musa said the scale of the challenge requires cooperation between government, security agencies, communities, traditional leaders, religious leaders, and citizens.
“Nobody can do this alone. The challenges are enormous. We must come together to achieve success,” he said.
His comment comes as Nigeria continues to battle kidnappings, killings, banditry, terrorism, and attacks on vulnerable communities across different parts of the country.
The Defence Minister’s message is expected to strengthen calls for intelligence sharing, community support, and stronger collaboration among security stakeholders in the fight against criminal groups.
