Pastor Femi Lazarus has come to the defence of Apostle Arome Osayi following criticism over the latter’s recent remarks about Nigeria’s spiritual calling.
Apostle Arome Osayi had reportedly described Nigeria’s calling as one of “revival,” a statement that sparked mixed reactions among Nigerians, with some questioning the claim and others defending his position.
Amid the backlash, Pastor Femi Lazarus urged people to understand that preachers, like every other human being, are not infallible.
Speaking on the controversy, the pastor noted that spiritual leaders can make statements that may not always be correct, stressing that their words should not automatically be treated as unquestionable.
He maintained that disagreement with a preacher does not necessarily invalidate the person’s entire ministry or message.
Pastor Femi Lazarus’ comments come as the debate over Nigeria’s spiritual identity and future continues to generate conversations among Christians and social media users.
