Nollywood actress and evangelist Tonto Dikeh has cautioned people against associating wealth with ritual practices or immoral activities, stressing that some individuals became successful through hard work and the talents they discovered within themselves.
The actress made this known while addressing members of her church, where she spoke about the different paths through which people attain financial success.
According to Tonto Dikeh, not every wealthy man is involved in rituals, just as not every rich woman acquired her wealth through sleeping with men for money.
She explained that some people have spent years working hard and building successful lives through their natural abilities and gifts, even without having a personal relationship with God.
Emphasising her point, she said:
“Not every rich man is a ritualist and not every rich woman sleeps with men for money. Some people worked hard for years and don’t even know God because they discovered a gift within them and didn’t let it slip.”
Her remarks centred on the importance of recognising and developing one’s talents rather than making negative assumptions about people simply because they are wealthy.
