The ongoing marital issues between celebrity couple Rosy Meurer and Olakunle Churchill have continued to generate heated discussions across social media, with Nigerians expressing mixed reactions.
Recently, an old video of Rosy Meurer resurfaced online, drawing fresh attention amid the controversy. In the clip, the Nollywood actress was seen preparing a traditional meal for her husband, using a mortar and pestle to pound yam. The video showed her effort to embrace domestic life and please her partner.
In the caption accompanying the video at the time it was first shared, Rosy stated that she was willing to learn anything necessary to keep her husband happy. She also highlighted Churchill’s reaction after tasting the meal she prepared for him, which included pounded yam and Ofe Nsala soup.
The caption read in part: “Better pounded yam and Ofe nsala soup for Oko mi. Nothing wey I no go learn to please this man.”
The resurfaced video comes shortly after Olakunle Churchill made controversial claims about the nature of their relationship, stating that there was no legally recognized marriage between them. According to him, their union did not involve a court or church wedding, but was limited to an introduction ceremony.
