NPFL: Mangut laments Nasarawa United’s loss to Shooting Stars

Nasarawa United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut has lamented his team’s 3-2 defeat to Shooting Stars, DAILY POST reports.

Shooting Stars led 2-0, before the visitors levelled in the second half.

The Solid Miners were however undone by their former player, Kamal Adegoke, who scored the winning goal for Shooting Stars 13 minutes from time.

Nasarawa United remain in sixth position on the NPFL table, and now face a difficult task in their ambition of securing a place on the continent.

Mangut said a momentary loss of concentration cost his side the game.

“I feel so disappointed with the result today after putting up a superb performance into game. We lost due to a momentary loss of concentration,” Mangut told the club’s media.

Nasarawa United will host Plateau United in their next league game at the Lafia City Stadium this weekend.
