Nollywood actress Omotola Ekeinde has received double recognition for her contributions to society and philanthropic efforts.
The actress recently made headlines after revealing the amount she earned from one of her movie projects and announcing that she would donate 10 per cent of the proceeds to an NGO.
On Sunday, Omotola took to social media to share the latest recognition she had received for her social impact efforts.
According to the actress, she was honoured with a Social Impact Award as well as a Lifetime Social Impact Recognition by Israel Tribune in America.
Expressing her gratitude, Omotola appreciated the organisers for the honour and thanked her Maker for giving her the opportunity and ability to make a difference in society.
The actress has continued to use her platform and resources to support causes aimed at giving back to the community.
Her words…
“When I decided to donate our entire producers’ earnings from Mother’s Love: The Movie to the education of children from underserved communities such as Makoko, which was one of the backgrounds of our movie, little did I know how many it would resonate with, touch, or be watched by.
Our little act of obedience has continued to inspire me.
Honoured to receive both a Social Impact Award and a Lifetime Social Impact recognition from both the Israel Tribune and @90210enterprise, a joint first recognition by them.
