Fayose, acknowledging his support and promising to visit him amid the recent controversy surrounding his meeting with Seyi Tinubu.
Speaking after the call, Fayose reiterated that despite being a family friend of President Bola Tinubu, he remains committed to Peter Obi’s political movement.
“When my brother was a governor, it was the same time Tinubu was also governor of Lagos State. Yes, I am family friends with Tinubu. But Nigeria belongs to all of us, and the people want a change. I am 1 million percent Obidient. I love Peter Obi. Dr. Mo has called me too. Obi said he’s in Lagos and would visit me tomorrow.”
The development comes days after Fayose faced criticism from some Obidient supporters following a viral video showing him with Seyi Tinubu.
