The Delta State Police Command has deepened investigations into the rape of a 20-year-old girl, identified as Favour Agboro, who died thereafter, and transferred the rapist, a popular content creator, Ifeanyi Ogbonna, widely known as ODOGWU OF ASABA, to the Criminal Investigation Department, Asaba.
ODOGWU OF ASABA was arrested on Wednesday by the Police Area Command in Effurun, on account of a petition by the parents of the Late Favour, after the viral video she posted calling on the police to arrest the content creator over allegation of rape before taking her own life through ingested pills.
According to the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Edafe Bright, the Criminal Investigation Department, Asaba, has taken over the case for a thorough investigation as directed by the State Commissioner of Police, CP Yemi Oyeniyi, who promised to get to the root of the matter
