“Poor men have no place in my heart, even in my dream I see money” – Influencer Jima Emmanuel

Influencer Jima Emmanuel has stirred reactions on social media after declaring that she has no interest in dating a poor man, saying she only wants a partner who is financially stable.

The content creator made the statement in a viral video, explaining that she knows her financial expectations are high and would rather be with someone who can comfortably meet them than struggle alongside a man with limited means.

In her words, she said:

“A poor man has no place in my heart. I no wan suffer person son oo. It’s not me that will drain you because I’m the kind of girl that if you give me ₦1 million today, the next day I’ll want ₦2 million.

You give me ₦2 million, the next day I’ll want 3,4,5 million. I’m never satisfied. So I want to be with a man that I know is financially stable enough.”

Jima went on to advise men who disagree with her views to focus on improving their finances instead of criticizing her preference. She added that her love for money extends beyond reality, insisting she even dreams about it.

“And if you’re a man and you think I’m saying nonsense, go and work, go and make money. Your mates are spending their house rent on food. Me, I like money. I don’t care. Even in my dreams, I like money. A poor man has no place in my heart,” she added.

The video quickly gained traction online, with many social media users sharing mixed opinions.

One user wrote, “At least she’s honest. Some people will pretend until they enter the relationship.” Another added, “She said she’s never satisfied. That’s the biggest red flag here.”
