American pop superstar Lady Gaga has welcomed her first child with her fiancé, entrepreneur Michael Polansky, according to reports.
Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, 40, became widely known after releasing her 2008 hit “Just Dance,” featuring Colby O’Donis.
She began dating Polansky, 42, in 2020, and the couple became engaged in 2024.
Page Six and People confirmed the birth on Friday, citing a source, although details about the baby, including the name, sex and date of birth, were not immediately available.
The Grammy-winning singer, affectionately known as “Mother Monster” by her fans, has spoken openly in recent years about her desire to become a mother.
In a March interview with The New York Times, Gaga expressed excitement about motherhood and reflected on how her perspective on having children had evolved.
“I’m excited to be a mom. I used to have a lot of apprehension about it,” she said.
“The thing that’s the most important to me is not to force my children to live a life that they are not choosing.
“So the more that we can give them space to discover who they are on their own, that’s the thing that I believe in the most.”
Gaga recently wrapped up her Mayhem Ball world tour in April, following the release of her latest album, “Mayhem.”
The album earned multiple Grammy nominations and won the award for Best Pop Vocal Album earlier this year, adding another major achievement to a career that has spanned music, film and fashion.
