The Flying Antelopes secured their ninth NPFL title on Sunday, May 24, after a dramatic 2-1 victory over Ikorodu City in Lagos on the final day of the season.
Players and club officials paraded through major parts of Enugu, drawing cheers from supporters before concluding the celebrations at Okpara Square.
The champions also paid a courtesy visit to the Government House, where they were received by Peter Mbah.

Rangers entered the final round of fixtures knowing that only a win against Ikorodu City, who had not lost at home all season, would guarantee them the title. They rose to the occasion, claiming all three points to edge out closest challengers Rivers United, who defeated Katsina United 3-0 in Port Harcourt.
The Enugu club finished the campaign on 68 points, one ahead of Rivers United in a fiercely contested title race.
The latest success adds to Rangers’ rich history, having previously won the league in 1974, 1975, 1977, 1981, 1982, 1984, 2016 and 2023/24.
By claiming a ninth domestic crown, Rangers have now drawn level with Enyimba as the most successful club in Nigerian top-flight history, further cementing their status among the country’s football elite.
