Barcelona star Raphinha is set to remain at the club until 2030, sporting director Deco announced on Saturday during the club’s general assembly.
The Brazilian winger has made an impressive start to the season and currently leads the La Liga scoring charts with nine goals in six matches, despite being deployed as a central striker rather than on the wing.
“Raphinha’s renewal is quite advanced… Rafa will be with us for the next four years,” said Deco.
The sporting director also revealed that young players Xavi Espart and Marc Bernal are expected to sign new contracts with Barcelona in the coming days.
“They are three players who we’ve got sorted for renewals in the last week,” added Deco.
Raphinha, 29, joined Barcelona from Leeds United in 2022 and became an important member of the squad following Hansi Flick’s arrival as head coach in 2024.
