A 17-year-old lady has sparked reactions online after sharing a video of a 39-year-old man who allegedly approached her on the road and asked for her phone number.
In the video circulating on social media, the teenager shared her encounter with the older man, who reportedly expressed admiration for her and attempted to justify his interest despite their age difference.
According to her account, the man told her: “Does that mean? You are an advanced student. Age is just a number, let us be friends, I just admire you.”
The teenager’s revelation has since raised concerns about the interaction, particularly given that she is 17 while the man is reportedly 39 years old.
The incident has also triggered conversations online about age differences, boundaries and the importance of adults respecting the boundaries of minors.
