Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has sparked excitement among fans after seemingly putting her long-standing feud with celebrity fashion designer Toyin Lawani behind her.
On September 23, 2026, Iyabo shared photos of herself and Toyin together on Instagram, suggesting that the former friends have finally reconciled after years of being apart.
Alongside the pictures, the actress reflected on the value of genuine friendships and how time apart had changed their perspectives.
Tagging Toyin Lawani, Iyabo wrote:
“Life taught us that real friendships aren’t perfect, they are real. We had our moment apart, but real friendship always finds its way back. @tiannahsplacempire ❤️”
The relationship between the two celebrities reportedly became strained around 2022, with their disagreement playing out publicly during their time on The Real Housewives of Lagos.
During one of their heated exchanges, Iyabo questioned Toyin’s alleged influence over Laura Ikeji and referred to her with the Yoruba word “gbeborun,” which means gossip.
Toyin, meanwhile, had openly shown her support and affection for Laura Ikeji, who has had a long-standing clash with Iyabo Ojo.
Following the disagreement, Iyabo and Toyin unfollowed each other on Instagram, further fuelling reports that their friendship had come to an end.
The tension also appeared to extend to family milestones, as Toyin was notably absent from public celebrations of Iyabo’s daughter Priscilla’s achievements, despite previously showing strong support for the family.
However, the former friends later followed each other again on social media, sparking speculation that they had begun rebuilding their relationship.
Their latest photos together now appear to confirm that Iyabo Ojo and Toyin Lawani have reconciled and are ready to move past their differences.
