Sarah Martins Reveals Why She Said No After Man Booked an Entire Cinema to Propose

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has revealed that she recently turned down a marriage proposal, saying she is currently more focused on building her career and making money than pursuing a romantic relationship.

Sharing the experience on her Instagram page, the Asaba-based actress disclosed that a man rented an entire cinema for a private outing before asking her to be his woman.

Despite the grand romantic gesture, Sarah said she politely declined the proposal, explaining that her past relationship experiences have made her cautious about love.

“After booking an entire cinema for just the two of us… he asked, ‘Will you be my woman?’

I politely said NO for now.

Omo e get as relationship go show u shege u will kuku focus on chasing money and leave love for who get am.”

According to the actress, she is not ready to commit to a relationship at the moment and would rather channel her energy into achieving financial success.

Sarah Martins has previously made headlines over issues relating to admirers. Earlier this year, she reacted after a dispatch rider claimed he lost his job for expressing romantic feelings toward her.

In other news… A media aide to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success, has urged social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, to tender an apology to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, following his recent comments about the cleric.

In a strongly worded post shared online, Ossai cautioned that disrespecting Pastor Adeboye could lead to what he described as “spiritual consequences.”

He insisted that VeryDarkMan was wrong to criticise the revered cleric, stressing that Adeboye is devoted to praying for Nigeria and not involved in partisan or political matters.

“I have called on Very Dark Man to apologize to Pastor E.A. Adeboye, but he is proving difficult,” he said.

“He may think he is building clout with his followers by attacking spirituality and dragging a man of God. But there are lines you do not cross.”

Ossai further stated, “You cannot be rude to an iroko tree and expect to live long.”

According to him, Pastor Adeboye has done nothing wrong and is often misunderstood whenever he does not publicly align with political expectations or national debates.

“Pastor Adeboye is of God. He is not holding brief for any man or political camp. He is standing in the gap for the nation before God,” he added.

He also claimed that critics have, over time, unfairly targeted the cleric without justification.

“History is clear: Satan has used many people to insult Baba Adeboye for no just cause,” he said.
