Gift Orban has been omitted from Hellas Verona’s squad for this weekend’s Serie A clash against Leece, DAILY POST reports.
Orban was involved in a physical altercation with a fan after the club’s 1-0 home defeat to AC Milan last week.
The Nigerian striker was widely criticised for his action, with Verona also releasing a statement condemning the act.
The 22-year-old also apologised on social media for the unfortunate incident.
Orban trained separately from his teammates this week, and as part of his punishment won’t feature against Leece.
The forward is on loan at Verona from Bundesliga outfit, Hoffenheim.
