Seun Kuti Fires Back at VeryDarkMan, Calls Him “Very Daft Man” as Ratels Storm His Livestream

Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has fired back at social media activist VeryDarkMan (VDM), calling him “Very Daft Man” during a livestream as their ongoing exchange continues to generate reactions online.

Responding to recent criticism, Seun defended his activism, insisting that he pays his taxes and has no intention of compromising his principles. He maintained that holding the government accountable is part of his civic responsibility.

“I pay my taxes. I’ll never succumb to the pressure of eating vomit. My job is to fight the government to use my tax well.”

Shortly after his remarks, supporters of VeryDarkMan, popularly known as Ratels, flooded Seun’s livestream comments, repeatedly calling him “Tolotolo” and urging him to leave social media and return to protesting against the government. The exchange has further fueled the growing war of words between the two outspoken figures.
