Shatta Wale Dreams of Flying With Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Medikal on Private Jet

Shatta Wale has expressed his desire to one day travel on a private jet with fellow Ghanaian musicians Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and Medikal for international shows.

Speaking to EIB Digital, the dancehall artiste opened up about the rivalry and tension that have existed between himself and some artistes in the Ghanaian music industry.

According to Shatta Wale, he no longer wants unhealthy competition and division in the industry.

“I don’t have any problem with any artiste. You know, Stonebwoy is like a brother to me. Same as Sarkodie,” he said.

The “Melissa” hitmaker admitted that past issues and controversies between camps have sometimes created an unsafe atmosphere for people around them.

However, he said his mindset has now changed because he wants to focus on growth and unity within the industry.

“I believe I have a changed mindset because I want to build. So if he also wants to build, we should come together and build,” he explained.

Shatta Wale added that too much rivalry and tension do not help the music business grow in a healthy way.

He further revealed that he dreams of a future where Ghana’s top artistes travel together for major international performances instead of operating separately.

“Once upon a time, it should be me, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and Medikal in a jet, flying to go and do a show. It shouldn’t be only me,” he stated.

The comments come shortly after Shatta Wale travelled from Accra to London on a private jet ahead of promotional activities and preparations for his upcoming ShattaFest UK 2026 concert scheduled for August 1, 2026.
